Applications Invited for Prime Minister’s Internship Scheme; Registration Open Until March 12

The candidates who want to apply for the PM internship scheme can register through the  pminternship.mca.gov.in and the registration can be done by candidates till March 12, 2025.
In Ludhiana, 185 youth will be selected under the program. The program aimed to provide young individuals with practical exposure to professional work environments. The selected interns will be placed in India’s top 500 companies, gaining hands-on experience that enhances their career prospects. The program is designed to equip youth with essential skills and industry insights, boosting their employability.

The individuals (21-24 years) belong to low-income households. No member of the family is earning more than Rs 8 lakh per annum, and no member of the family should have a government job. The 10 pass-outs or above (ITI, polytechnic, graduation, etc.) are eligible.

A stipend worth Rs 5,000 per month (₹500 from the company, ₹4,500 from the government via DBT). One-time grant incidentals will be provided to the incidentals. The graduates from IIT/IIM, NLU, and IISER, the candidates with qualifications like CA, CMA, CS, MBBS, BDS, MBA, any Master’s degree and who have completed training under NAPS or NATS are ineligible for the scheme.

Additional Deputy Commissioner (Rural Development) Amarjit Bains informed that help desks have been established in DBEE Office, Pratap Chowk and DIC Office , Industrial Area where potential candidates can come with their Aadhar Card and education documents and register for the scheme.
